Our Musician Spotlight for November is Violin and Viola duo String Sisters, who have been working with us in Wales since October 2018.
“It’s humbling to see how many complex machines and medicines are set up in the wards, and the care and patience that the parents and staff give to the little ones. To think that we could bring a little bit of music and smiles to both the babies and grown-ups is absolutely amazing.”

Our musicians Kirsten Easdale & Gregor Lowrey will be visiting the Tigh Na Drochaid Resource Centre in Portree for a week of interactive music sessions culminating in a live performance for the local community.

Electricity distributor Western Power Distribution (WPD) has provided funding for 15 free live music sessions across South West Wales.

Margaret has been spreading Joy Through Live Music with MiHC since 2010 and is a firm favourite amongst care homes and hospitals.

Volunteer ambassador Robin Barr has been recognised for his 40 years of service at the annual ScottishPower Foundation Awards, winning a £5,000 prize for the organisation’s work in the UK.

Manchester’s first Dementia friendly music festival to take place at The Bridgewater Hall on BBC Music Day, hosted by So Many Beauties in partnership with Music in Hospitals & Care, Manchester Camerata, The Bridgewater Hall, Hallé and the Royal Northern College of Music.
