This week we are celebrating our fantastic volunteers and the valuable addition they make to the Music in Hospitals & Care community. We speak to Owain Brodrick, who volunteered with us earlier this year at our Cardiff office, about his experiences.
Paul Kerr has been working with Music in Hospitals & Care in South England since 2011. His friendly Irish tones and great repertoire of singalong favourites make him a hit with audiences of all ages.

This Friday, 8th May, the nation comes together to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day. We know the celebrations will be a little different this year, so we have put together a couple of activities to share the joy of music which we hope will be the perfect accompaniment to your festivities.
Colin & Gina started working with Music in Hospitals & Care in 2016 and have since performed over 150 sessions across Scotland. This talented duo are known and loved for their ability to engage with audience members and create moving and memorable experiences. Their sessions are filled with fun and laughter as well as wonderful music.
We are thrilled to announce that we have raised over £5,000 so far in The 2.6 Challenge, a campaign organised by London Marathon to help save the UK's charities that are seeing their fundraising income decimated by the coronavirus lockdown and the resulting postponement or cancellation of events that would normally raise vital funds.

The Retrosettes are a vintage themed band based in Manchester who play Rock n Roll, Pop and Soul tunes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. The quintet, which has both male and female vocals from married couple Paul and Helen, have been performing for Music in Hospitals & Care since 2017.
Over £4,000 has been raised for Music in Hospitals & Care Scotland thanks to the generosity of guests enjoying the Women in Property Central Scotland Annual Dinner at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh on 28th February.
Will Browne is a guitarist who has been working with MiHC in South Wales since 2014. He performs relaxing renditions of popular songs such as 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and 'Fly Me to the Moon' in range of settings including our ICU Hear® sessions on critical care wards.
