The final day of #SmallCharityWeek is all about HR and people, and how small charities are supporting their staff. Our Staff Engagement team is led by Lara, our People and Culture Lead, and explores ways that staff can connect and socialise while working remotely.
This year our musicians Annie Summers and Helen Wilding have started an exciting new residency at Coventry Hospital. Violinist Helen and guitarist and harpist Annie share uplifting live music in the oncology and paediatric wards once a month.
In 2023/24, 50 hours of live music took place as part of the weekly 'jam sessions' at Royal Edinburgh Hospital in The Hive, which have been running for over ten years.
Since January we have been sharing weekly live music and visual art experiences at Tŷ Llidiard, a residential NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Bridgend.

We are excited to be working in partnership with Swansea Bay University Health Board to deliver the new 'Musical Hospitals' project.
