Make double the difference when you support our Big Give appeal

6th March 2024

We are excited to announce our upcoming Big Give appeal, Arts for Impact.

Create special moments and memories for parents and their babies in neonatal units with peaceful songs and melodies. Music can reduce babies’ heart rates and help them to sleep deeper. This can reduce the time families have to spend in hospital.

Donate now to our Big Give appeal and until 26 March your gift will be doubled at no extra cost to you. This means twice the amount raised to help share the healing power of live music with seriously ill children and adults.

Music in Hospitals & Care’s professional musicians play at bedsides in high dependency and intensive care units to transform what can often be a noisy, busy and stressful environment.

Our Vice President, BBC presenter and music lover Katie Derham, is supporting the appeal.

“I have witnessed the tangible difference that live music can make to patients, staff and families’ wellbeing in critical care. Music in Hospitals & Care’s Lullaby Hour programme delivers wonderful melodies to those who need it most, soothing babies and helping to calm and reduce stress for parents in truly difficult times. I am pleased to be supporting the charity’s Big Give appeal to help more families experience this.”

You can help by giving the gift of live music. One donation makes double the difference.
