Step into Christmas

12th November 2021

Join team Music in Hospitals & Care this Christmas and take on a festive step challenge. Simply choose your daily step target. Challenge yourself to complete it every day in the lead up to Christmas (1 – 24 December). And raise money to help share live music with people who may not otherwise get to experience it.

Live music helps people feel relaxed and connected. It can relieve frustration, stress and isolation, and reduce the perception of pain. With your support we can continue to share this gift all year round.

How to get involved

Register now with three simple steps
1. Choose your daily step goal for 1-24 December
2. Set up your fundraising page
3. Start your challenge on 1 December

So Merry Christmas one and all, there’s no place I’d rather be… than asking you if you’d oblige ‘Stepping into Christmas’ with me. – Elton John

More about the challenge

What do I need to do?
Throughout December commit to completing a daily step challenge and fundraise to support Music in Hospitals & Care.

How many steps should I choose?
10,000 steps is the recommended daily step count, but we recognise you may want to set your own daily step challenge. Whatever your fitness level and available time, you can set a daily step target that works for you.

Do I get a fundraising pack?
As soon as your fundraising page is set up and you are receiving donations (minimum £50) we will send you a t-shirt and welcome pack. If you need any other materials, just email hello@mihc.org.uk.

Can I let you know how I am getting on?
Yes, we would love to hear how you are getting on with the challenge, you can contact us at any time. We will also be sending emails to see how you are getting on throughout December and in the run up to the challenge.

How do I pay in the money I have raised?
All money on your Just Giving page will come directly to us. You can pay in any offline sponsorship to your Just Giving page or get in touch with us for more options.
