Volunteer ambassador Robin Barr has been recognised for his 40 years of service at the annual ScottishPower Foundation Awards, winning a £5,000 prize for the organisation’s work in the UK.

Manchester’s first Dementia friendly music festival to take place at The Bridgewater Hall on BBC Music Day, hosted by So Many Beauties in partnership with Music in Hospitals & Care, Manchester Camerata, The Bridgewater Hall, Hallé and the Royal Northern College of Music.

The Rotary Club of Aberdeen Balgownie has raised the roof and £517 for Music in Hospitals & Care in Scotland.

This week we are celebrating all of our fantastic volunteers who support the work of the charity in lots of different ways.

Based in Neath, South Wales, Valley Rock Voices are a 100-strong female only choir, who have supported the charity throughout the past year.

A new partnership between Music in Hospitals & Care and Age UK branches across the North of England will bring regular live music concerts to  12 Age UK centres from March 2019.
