Our latest annual report is now available.
Live music is powerful. It is part of what makes us who we are. 2024/25 has been another year filled with thousands of hours of live music, sharing joy in hospitals, care homes, hospices and community spaces.
We see access to live music as a necessity, not a nicety. Last year, you helped us to continue to move one step closer to our vision – everyone should be able to access and experience the joy of live music. In 2024/25, we were able to reach over 47,000 patients, residents and service users.
“A patient called Jerry was clapping along to his request for the Beach Boys and his wife took a video to show the physiotherapists. She told us that he hadn’t used his left hand since having a stroke and they had been encouraging him to do this. She was delighted.”

However, increasing costs and an uncertain financial landscape mean our fundraising has not grown at the rate we need to keep up with demand for our live music. We had to turn away requests from health and care settings due to a lack of funding. As we entered our second investment year of our strategy, we were able to improve systems and invest in staff to help us grow our income in future years. But progress has been slower than our ambition due to the difficult economic situation across the UK right now.
This won’t stop us championing and sharing the power of live music. Together we created 2,363 hours of live music in 454 health and care settings. Moments of joy, connection, happiness and respite from emotional pain and distress. We have continued to build meaningful partnerships that look towards a future of sustainable live music and our long-term aspiration that it is embedded in health and care.
Thank you for your support. Please share and consider making a donation to keep the music playing.
Please give today to help improve the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.
