Make #MusicEveryDay part of your wellbeing routine with Music in Hospitals & Care

Every day we witness the difference live music can make. We believe everyone deserves to connect with #MusicEveryDay for the benefit of health and wellbeing.

It’s been so difficult to press pause on in-person live music sessions in response to the pandemic, but we have been heartened to see live music continuing to offer shared experiences and connection.

As restrictions start to ease our musicians cannot wait for children and adults to experience live music in person once more. Please get in touch to talk about sharing live music in person at your hospital, care home, hospice or community setting.

Thanks to incredible support we have been able to create a programme of livestream sessions, including live music for everyone to access on our Facebook page and personalised sessions for people in hospitals, care homes and hospices on Zoom. This has been a rare opportunity to bring musicians from across the UK to people they couldn’t normally reach. People are always at the heart of what we do, they have played a unique role in shaping these sessions.

Our live stream music will continue into autumn 2021. These can be included as part of regular activities in hospitals, care homes, hospices and at home.

Music and Memories – for those living with dementia and their carers. Created for care settings, communities and people at home. Sharing musical memories, we encourage requests, conversation and participation.

Live in Your Lounge – direct from our lounge to yours, every Friday we share upbeat music to support everyone’s mental health and wellbeing.

To find out more about who our #MusicEveryDay live stream programme has helped during lockdown, watch Mary’s story, David’s story and Alan’s story.

We are also connecting with and celebrating other organisations, consortiums, communities and people that recognise the benefits live music brings to health and wellbeing. We know how music used as part of a daily routine can help manage insomnia, anxiety, depressed mood, confusion and improve memory.

In these most difficult of times, and with your support, we will play our part in sharing the healing power of live music.
