March is Brain Injury Awareness Month and we’re shining a light on the important role that live music plays in patient recovery.

This Student Volunteering Week, we hear from St Andrews University student Tatenda, who volunteered with us last year in Scotland.

We are delighted to share that we have been successful in our application to become a Creative Scotland portfolio organisation.

This year our professional musicians will once again share special live music experiences to celebrate the life of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns.

The wonderful staff at Brynmawr Care Village, a supportive community for people living with dementia in Wales, held a bake sale and donated all proceeds to our Christmas appeal.

On 13 November 2023 we made phone calls and sent cards to dedicated supporters, who shared heartfelt memories and stories.

Last month Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge was transformed for Diwali with sparkling lights and candles. We were delighted to celebrate with patients, families, staff and our musician Shem Jarrold.

We work with over 300 musicians, including some who have been with us for many years and have seen lots of changes to popular music, health and care settings and the charity over the decades. Singer and guitarist Bernie Fawcett has been working with us in the North of England and North Wales since 2015.
