Your live music team

You may have noticed there have been some changes to the music delivery team over the past few months. We wanted to update you on the shape of the team and our new ways of working.

UK wide

We are moving towards a UK wide approach. This is supported by our new Beacon database and the development of consistent processes across our music delivery team. This means that while our live music coordinators will continue to support live music in their local area, they are also able to arrange music anywhere in the UK.

This will be a gradual process over the next few months and we hope that by April 2026 all of our coordinators will be supporting some live music outside of their geographical area. Our live music team remain spread across the nations, understanding the cultural diversity of musical styles and traditions in each area. This will continue to be an important consideration when arranging live music.

To support the move towards UK wide working, we have developed two new roles that replace the previous area based Live Music Managers:

Katrina Rigby
Live Music Development Manager – Operations

Katrina has worked with the charity since 2022, supporting our programmes in Wales and Northern Ireland and extending to cover the South England and Channel Islands in December 2024. Katrina’s new role is focused on standardising our work across the UK and making sure we have strong foundations for our future growth.

Our Live Music Coordinators

We have a great team of live music coordinators, some of whom you will already know and some who are new to the team. Each coordinator has a range of live music programmes that they lead on, and they will reach out to local musicians to support these.
