Mae Cerddoriaeth mewn Ysbytai a Gofal wrth eu bodd o fod wedi derbyn cyllid unwaith eto gan Ymddiriedolaeth Siryf y Coleg Brenhinol i rannu profiadau cerddoriaeth fyw a grëwyd yn arbennig gyda phobl na fyddent fel arall yn cael eu profi yn Elmbridge, Surrey.
The Trust celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and has awarded over £50,000 since it first began supporting the charity in 1995.
The grant will help to fund events such as the ‘MusicaliTea’ series at Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre in Walton-on-Thames, which invites local care homes, day centres and those in the community to enjoy some music and cake at the historic venue.

The benefit to Elmbridge residents that Music in Hospitals & Care provide through their music programme is vital in addressing issues of health and wellbeing, especially during these difficult times. Lydia, a professional cellist in New York, has been involved in music and performing in care settings for many years: “When I was younger, my grandfather was in a care home, and we would visit and play music for him.”
