Support us

There are so many ways that you can do a lot or a little. You can volunteer for us, you can fundraise… we’re very fortunate to have places in activities like the London Marathon.

Our musicians’ performances simply couldn’t take place without the contributions, donations and time given by our amazing supporters.

We depend upon the generous support we receive from charitable trusts & foundations, businesses, local authorities, schools, clubs and groups, individual donors, anonymous donors, volunteers and our Friends of Music in Hospitals & Care. We are hugely grateful to each and every person supporting MiHC; it enables us to reach over 100,000 people in care each year.

Why we need your support

As a registered charity (no.1051659 & SC038864 in Scotland) we aim to cover our costs each year. This year we are aiming to provide 5,000 performances in care settings across the UK. In order to do this, we need to raise over £1.2 million.

Contributions from care settings alone are not enough to fund each engaging performance and ambitious project we embark upon. If you are able to contribute towards our musicians’ work, any amount, no matter how big or small, will make a direct difference to the lives of people in care.

Quite simply, the more funds we raise, the more concerts we can give.

Support us with confidence as we are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to good practice codes within our fundraising activity across the UK.
