The Rotary Club of Aberdeen Balgownie has raised the roof and £517 for Music in Hospitals & Care Scotland (MiHC Scotland). Their music fundraising evening raised a fantastic amount and lots of awareness about MiHC Scotland’s work bringing the joy of live music to people of all ages in healthcare settings.
Thanks to Grampian Youth Orchestra members and our own, Jason Sweeney, the audience were treated to a diverse mix of classical, pop, rock and even heavy metal.
“Jason provided something for everyone and carried some folk into new genres, with a delightful, powerful bit of Heavy Metal.”
Thank you to all involved in organising and hosting this brilliant event including the musicians, Rotary Club members and MiHC Scotland local ambassador for Aberdeen, Bill Cowling.
