In December that the Treblemakers, a London based acapella group, took to the streets for some socially distanced carolling to raise money and help share the healing power of live music.
Our Musician Spotlight for January is pianist Caroline Clipsham, who has been working with us for over 20 years. Caroline’s warm personality and wide repertoire, covering anything from nursery rhymes to classical pieces, make her popular in a variety of healthcare settings.
As we can’t share live music in person this year we have created something special for the festive season. Musicians from across the UK will come together to reimagine some festive favourites.
Hanna Heiss is one of our amazing musicians with very limited opportunities for work due to the pandemic. Hanna is also a trained tailor and is selling these musical face coverings, with 25% of the price donated to Music in Hospitals & Care.
Our Musician Spotlight for December is Bruce Davies, who joined Music in Hospitals & Care in 1997. His wide repertoire and use of reminiscence have made him a hit amongst older audiences across Scotland.
Our Musician Spotlight for November is Sian Francis, who has been working with us in Wales since 2018 and is well loved for both her lively interactive sessions and calming Lullaby Hour sessions for babies and children.
