Julian Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Huw Williams named in the Queen's 2021 birthday honours

We would like to congratulate our Trustee Dr Jeremy Huw Williams and our Vice President Prof Julian Lloyd Webber, who have both been named in the Queen’s birthday honours.
We thank Alan for his outstanding efforts and achievements spanning 30 years in support of the charity, giving his time and skills as a musician, volunteer, committee member, supporter, adviser and fundraiser to share the healing power of live music.

Rolling Hills are alive with the sound of music

Edinburgh's Rolling Hills Chorus raise funds with their lockdown online quiz for Music in Hospitals & Care.
New research, carried out by the Salford Institute for Dementia at our specially created music café, has found that people living with dementia who regularly experience live music have reduced isolation, increased wellbeing and improved peer support.
Musician spotlight: Alastair Collingwood

Our Musician Spotlight for May is singer/pianist Alastair Collingwood, who has been working with us in South England since 2018. Alastair’s wide repertoire of classic songs played in a jazz style make him popular both in hospital wards and care home lounges.
