  • #BackToLive: Charlie Gorman

    • 21st September 2021

Our musician Charlie Gorman shares his thoughts on live music.

  • Edinburgh's Rolling Hills Chorus raise funds with their lockdown online quiz for Music in Hospitals & Care.

  • Our Musician Spotlight for April is Kirsten Easdale and Gregor Lowrey. This Celtic folk duo joined us in 2013 and have performed almost 300 live music sessions touring the length and breadth of Scotland, from the borders to the highlands and islands.

  • Our Musician Spotlight for December is Bruce Davies, who joined Music in Hospitals & Care in 1997. His wide repertoire and use of reminiscence have made him a hit amongst older audiences across Scotland.

  • We are delighted that our trustee, Dr Alan Jacques, has been shortlisted for this year's Scottish Charity Awards in the 'Terrific Trustee' category. Votes are now open for the People's Choice Award.

  • Davy joined Music in Hospitals & Care in 2001 as part of 'On The Wagon'. Eighteen years on, he has performed nearly 2,700 sessions and has now decided to take a very well deserved retirement. We are so grateful for all the joy that Davy has brought to people through his music over the years and we wish him a very happy retirement.
