Job Title:  Concerts Coordinator

Contract: Permanent

Hours:  Full time

Salary: £23,000 per annum

Location:  Walton-on-Thames

Music in Hospitals & Care is a charity that sets out to provide professionally performed live music in hospitals, hospices, day care centres, special schools, nursing and residential care homes in order improve the quality of life for adults and children with all kinds of illness and disability. We are looking for a committed individual to join our small and friendly team to plan and coordinate the delivery of live music sessions in healthcare venues across the UK.

You will need excellent and proven communication skills, considerable experience of using databases and other IT programmes to enable you to manage large volumes of data, produce forms, reports and publicity materials. A background in music would be an advantage.

This is a full-time position.

Specific Requirements:

  • Strong administrative skills with an eye for detail
  • Committed to the aims and objectives of the charity
  • Good at developing and maintaining  relationships;
  • Proficiency in MS Office programmes
  • Experience of work with relational databases is an advantage
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Musical skills not required but would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
