Community groups

Are you a local community, school or university group and looking to support a cause you’re passionate about? We’d love you to be our Support Act.

Music is universal. It breaks down barriers and it heals. You and your community group can help to share the healing power of live music by supporting Music in Hospitals & Care today.
We have worked with a variety of community groups, including: university groups, schools, Rotary clubs, Inner Wheel clubs, Lions Clubs, sports clubs, choirs, music societies, amateur dramatics societies, church groups, Masonic lodges, social clubs and Women’s Institutes.

We are incredibly grateful to every one of the local community groups who raise valuable funds for us through events, competitions, benefit evenings or by making us their charity of the year.

Organising a talk

It’s safe to say that we love nothing more than talking to people about Music in Hospitals & Care.

If you’re looking for a different kind of school assembly or a presentation for your community group, please get in touch.
We can arrange for one of our team, or a volunteer, to come and give a talk at a time to suit you. It will provide a real insight into all things Music in Hospitals & Care and the difference your support will make to children and adults around the UK.

Contact us to chat about how we could partner with you as your chosen charity or support your fundraising.

  • Stirling Orchestra members are very keen to support music charities where music can be used to help and support people who need it most. We’re learning a new instrument to grade 1 standard for Music in Hospitals Scotland because we want to use our music to help others. The progress everyone has made since we started this journey is simply astounding - inspirational even. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and to everyone involved from the challengers, accompanists, families (for the months of torture they've endured as well) and to all those who have so generously made donations and sent messages of encouragement.
