Our Supporters

We are hugely grateful to all MiHC supporters who make our performances across England possible. To every donor of funds or support in kind, to every event volunteer who’s lent a hand; to every cake baker, abseiler and marathon runner, to you all we say an enormous THANK YOU! We simply couldn’t do this without you.

If you’re interested to find out about the many ways in which you could support MiHC England, please see our fundraising ideas page here.

Our Patron

Instinctively we all seem to know that music makes us feel better. Having the privilege to be the Patron of Music in Hospitals & Care, I have seen at first hand just what a profound effect their live music concerts have on those in the healthcare system, including clinical and care staff, family and visitors.

Bickham House Residential Care Home, Cheshire

The faces of the residents said it all. Beams and smiles throughout with many residents singing along and doing solos. It was lovely to witness some of the residents’ reactions as some surprised you at how much they were getting involved or remembering words.

One resident with quite progressive Alzheimer’s was clapping in time and singing all the words to songs when normally she struggled with everyday communication.
