Can you imagine Christmas without music?
In December, for many people in health and care settings around the UK, this will be the reality.
For many of us, the sound of live music is a cherished part of Christmas shared with family and loved ones – whether it’s carol singers at your doorstep, a classical concert, or the sweet din of the children’s school choir.
We are excited to announce our second Big Give appeal. All donations made between midday on 3 December and 10 December will be doubled until we reach our target. This means twice the amount raised to help make sure that no one is living in silence.
As the festive season approaches, hearing live music can spark emotions, hopes and memories. And yet, for many people in hospitals, care homes and hospices at Christmas time, the sound of live music is nowhere to be heard.
Your donation will help to share more live music with people of all ages in hospital wards, critical care, neonatal units, care homes and community groups across the UK, all year round.
You can help by giving the gift of live music. One donation makes double the difference.
“This year more than ever I experienced some meaningful interactions with individuals. For example, a child asked me if she could sing a song. She borrowed my guitar and played and sang beautifully and we also sang ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ together. The staff told me that she regularly attends the youth support group that the hospice offer for siblings.”

Please give today to help improve the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.
