Blooms for tunes! Orkney Garden raises funds for MiHC Scotland

11th August 2017

Beautiful blooms! Over the summer, Anne and Robin Barr (Committee member of MiHC Scotland) opened their stunning garden in Orkney to the public. They asked visitors to make a donation to MiHC as they enjoyed the floral displays and horticultural delights, raising over £300 for our work in Scotland.

And it wasn’t just flora and fauna that visitors experienced! Garden guests were also treated to a few Scottish jigs and reels, as well as a tune from their home country by violinist Robin as they wandered through the garden. Our many thanks to all the Orkney garden visitors who’ve donated in support of our work and of course to Robin and Anne for doing all of this in aid of MiHC.
